Getting help

Email [CONTACT EMAIL]. We answer within two working days, in German or English.

For anything involving someone's safety, put SAFETY in the subject line and we will look at it the same day.

This mailbox is also our single point of contact for users under Art. 12 DSA and for authorities and the European Commission under Art. 11 DSA.

Community rules

The binding version is section 4 of the Terms of Use. In short, do not use Komos to:

Reporting content (Art. 16 DSA)

Every piece of content in Komos can be reported from where you're standing, in two taps:

You pick a reason: harassment or bullying, spam or scam, pretending to be someone else, inappropriate content, "I felt unsafe", or something else.

You do not need an account to report something you believe is illegal — email [CONTACT EMAIL] with a link or a description of where it is, an explanation of why it is illegal, and your name and email (not required for reports concerning offences under Articles 3 to 7 of Directive 2011/93/EU). We will confirm receipt, decide without undue delay, and tell you the outcome and how to challenge it.

What happens then

Blocking

Blocking is one tap from a profile, and it is silent — the person blocked is told nothing and simply stops being able to see you or your plans. You can see and undo your blocks in Settings → Blocked accounts.

Your account and your data

You can edit everything on your profile in the app, and delete your account from Settings — immediately, without asking us. What deletion does and does not remove, and every right you have over your data, is in the privacy policy.
